Pardon me, Do you have any Grey Poupon?

Why yes we do... and it's splattered all over our new home.  Obviously I am not a fan. It's not exactly the look we were going for- it's way too out there, even for us and too bright for such a long house.  It's amazing how different a color can look once you put it on something as big as a house.

So it's back to square one on exterior paint colors.  Bummer.  This time around we're going with a "safe" green called Arugula.  We haven't decided what color(s) to use on the garage and front door, but I think we'll have a better idea once the house is all painted and we can pull it all together.  Hopefully the rain will hold off tomorrow so we can get the mustard covered up before the neighbors have a heart attack.

  1. You actually chose that color for the house? Wow... better luck next time! lol :) Love the slate (or whatever kind of rocks they are) in the front!

  2. well, yes and no.. it was actually the primer, and they messed up.. or so we think. The color we chose looked nothing like that when we tested it out on the side of the house. Oh well, lesson learned. Thanks, I love the stone too.
