Enjoying the Last Days of Summer
Last week was a bad week, but luckily for me this is a long weekend- exactly what I need to keep my sanity intact. Waking up to low 60 degree weather put me in a good mood. It's so gorgeous outside right now, I feel guilty taking time to post this. But, I was up at 6:00 a.m., so I plan on getting a brief nap in while little man takes his.
We spent the morning paroozing the flea market, drinking amazingly tasty organic iced coffee, eating salted pretzels and strawberry ice-cream. The constant breeze was enough to get rid of any left over anger and angst I've been holding on to from the previous week. And if the above food wasn't enough, I just enjoyed the most delicious right from the garden cucumbers and tomato sandwich thanks to our company who came over last night with goodies from her garden.
